Why I do this
I never set out to be a photographer. I set out to keep things — the half-second before a laugh, the way evening light folds across a veil, the glance exchanged when no one else is watching. The camera was simply the most honest way I found to hold on to them.
Born and based in Ipoh, Malaysia, Aesthetic Photoboot has spent fifteen years documenting couture houses, editorial campaigns, and luxury weddings across more than thirty countries. Rather than simply capturing images, his work is driven by a deep desire for preservation—holding on to the unscripted glance, the breath before a laugh, and the quiet nuances of human connection
